So right off the bat that is a huge update on the gameplay itself. Third Person Shooter gameplay, a lot of us all thought Apex legends was going to be exclusively played in the first person because that’s how it is on the PC and console edition of the game.
Players All Over the globe so excited for it to be dropping here in mobile exclusively in the first person especially because we don’t have a battle royale least like a battle royal on mobile that is exclusive to first-person currently the only option we have for first-person VR experiences are to play VR mobiles that are predominantly played in the third person perfect examples are going to be PUBG and COD mobile. PUBG the majority of the mobile community plays in the third person, they do have options for first-person lobbies, or to toggle the first person within the third person lobbies. But that just puts you at a disadvantage.
And typically whenever you play the first person in these games, your lobbies are going to be mostly filled with either bots or you’re going to just wait in the queue for a very long time because the community is split. The same goes for Call of Duty mobile although the multiplayer is exclusively in the first person and gives you a true first-person experience.
The VR mode has defaulted to the third person point of view and you can swap over to first-person where again, you would more than likely have a lobby full of bots to reading that was a little heartbreaking at first, but I understand why they did it because it’s going to allow their game to appeal to a larger scale of the mobile community. But at the same time, I feel like that was a huge missed opportunity of actually giving players an exclusive first-person BR because as of right now.
like I’ve mentioned, we don’t really have a true first-person exclusive BR on mobile that at least is at a high level. But anyway, let’s continue on here with the description of the game itself.
Jump into intense combat while survival is the only thing that matters to prove that you have what it takes to make it out alive. Legends from all corners of the frontier have flocked to compete in the apex games for fame, fortune, and glory. Choose your legend from a diverse lineup that outlaws soldiers, misfits, and misanthrope (is a person who dislikes humankind and avoids human society). So that’s going to be that one dude. I would assume that the referring to Revenant in that.
What Legends Are in Apex Legends Mobile Beta
we have the character selection screen this is what you get once you cue up into a match. So choose from unique characters we’ve got the different categories of playstyle, bloodhound Gibraltar, Lifeline Pathfinder, Wraith, Bangalore, and Caustic. it all sort of depends on how the different abilities are going to be playing out with that whole third-person perspective.
Legends such as Wraith, bloodhound caustic, Gibraltar, Lifeline, and Pathfinder await strategy is key while making your selection a Legend that makes your playstyle customize them with unique skins and leave your mark I will say that’s the one good thing about the third person is you’re actually going to be able to truly appreciate your character skins at the same time with a huge selection of weapon skins as well.
So it was really nice to actually enjoy those in the first person. But again, I know you could probably toggle between the two in this game. So either way, you’re gonna be able to play the game how you want,
So looking at the legends here we got Bloodhound, Caustic, Gibraltar, Lifeline, and Pathfinder. So these are just a few of the original characters. I know we had Bangalore here we’ve got octane as well, if we can scroll over, he’s down. And although octane isn’t actually appearing here on this screen, I still have a feeling he’s going to be coming to the game.
they might take the same as a roadmap as the original Apex legends since this is going to actually be completely separate from that main game, it’s not going to be just a port. So we might be getting octane at like a season one update or something like when the game first drops in beta, it might be in the season zero phase, and then when the official game releases, like maybe a week after that, we’ll go into season one and then octane will drop just like how it did when the original Apex legends came out.
How Apex Legends Mobile Gameplay Really Is?
So it’s definitely something that we’re gonna have to see at launch with the characters but as of now, those are at least the confirmed ones in the description. Fast-paced, innovative combat with shorter matches and more exhilarating actions squad up with two other players and combined your skill sets to create the ultimate team battle against 19 other squads in a 60 person VR experience so once again, this does confirm it’s going to be similar to the traditional style of Apex legends. We’re going to have squads of threes and the matches are going to be 60 players BR.
Those 60 players are all real players and we don’t have any bots in the game. One of the biggest downsides to a lot of mobile VR is for me personally, is the fact that 90% of the time those games will fill you up with either a quarter or half of the lobby being bots. And I just think that takes away from the true VR experience. So hopefully, because of the fact that we are only going to have 60 player lobbies.
those are going to be all 60 real players combat comes with new innovative features such as jumpmaster deployments to create epic flights and fights. So once again, jumpmaster will be returning here to apex mobile. Further down in the description we’re talking about the features of the game, so legendary characters, multiplayer squads, innovative combat strategic battle royal,
take a look at the screenshots that I provided here just because they also kind of show off a lot of key information hierarchy in action we see Bangalore here, Gibraltar, and caustic in-game with an airstrike going down that could have been either Gibraltar or Bangalore’s ultimate ability. For those of you who don’t know characters in this game actually have unique abilities. So each character will have a passive, Tactical, and ultimate ability.
What Maps Are In Apex Legends Mobile
And I also think it’s super important to point out that this is the world’s edge map. So in Apex legends, there are three maps the original one was Kings Canyon, which was my personal favorite, then the second was the world’s edge, and the third one is Olympus. So it looks like at least it’s confirmed that we’re going to be playing on worlds edge, we might have other maps in the game as well.
Legends Abilities In Apex Legends Mobile
And then the image above just shows off again, a couple of in-game screenshots showing off the abilities rate, for example, has her portal, Bangalore running away from her defensive smoke strike I think is what it was called something like that, don’t quote me on that, and then Lifeline using her care packability. Again, all these screenshots are provided on the world’s edge map. So it looks like that’s going to be the first and only map available at launch.
Apex Legends Mobile is Future of Mobile Battle Royal Game
This is a huge moment for the Apex Legends team two years ago, we changed the landscape of the battle royale genre. And now we’re aiming to do it again on mobile that’s actually facts up until Apex legends mobile there wasn’t really a huge first-person game that had those unique abilities. I think this game was super well polished.
Also, another in-game screenshot of the mobile graphics provided is going to be probably like the end game a winner circle. But we got caustic bloodhound, Lifeline, and Bangalore all together. Apex legends mobile is specifically designed for touchscreens with streamlined controls and thoughtful optimizations that result in the most advanced battle royal combat available.
Is Apex Legends Mobile Similar to Apex Legends PC
On a phone. It’s a new version of Apex legends, but it’s true to the original once again just to touch base on this a little bit I pointed out that this isn’t just going to be a port to mobile it’s actually going to be its own independent game more similar to cod mobile as opposed to like fortnight mobile, for example, that was literally just a copy-paste of the PC version of the game.
So here we have an in-game screenshot of the mobile graphics themselves in the first-person perspective, this time around we’ve got a character holding the havoc energy rifle with a downed Gibraltar next to them actually provides some more good information because we’ll see that down shields are going to be making the return into Apex mobile. So down shields are another lootable item in the world that you’ll find that have different varieties ranging from common to legendary, but legendary will have not only the most amount of intake damage that you can receive, but an extra benefit like self revive, for example. So again, like I mentioned really cool information to get from the screenshot.
In Which Region Apex Legends Mobile Beta is Going to Be Available
We got more information here about the beta This is actually going to refer to the regions that are going to be available at launch. they keeping things small to start just a few 1000 players in India And the Philippines. So those are going to be the two locations at the launch of the beta, that you’re going to be able to play Apex legends mobile if you are within the first few 1000.
Again, they’re keeping it very small at the beginning. But over the course of this year, they plan to roll the game out to more regions and players around the world. And this is something that we commonly see for mobile games.
Obviously, beta testing is a huge element in game development Take an example of Call of Duty mobile specifically, I think we originally saw the beta drop in India and it’s slowly made its way around different countries, eventually going to Canada before the original release of the global version of the game. These next few paragraphs sort of reassure players that Apex legends PC and console is still going to be getting its constant updates, and nothing’s going to be changing for that game.
They will be steadily rolling out Apex legends mobile around the world in a series of tests. To start with, we’ll do a series of smaller closed beta tests in India in the Philippines. As I mentioned, those are gonna be the first ones.
The first of these begins spring 2021 and will only be available on Android devices so iOS will not be available in the beginning. As we continue with testing we’ll expand the size of the test, add new regions and implement iOS support when we’re ready to go broader will launch a page that allows you to pre-register for the game and sign up for news about the betas.
Apex Legends Mobile will be Cross-Play?
well, Apex legends mobile does not feature cross-play features with other versions of the game. Because Apex legends mobile is being built specifically for mobile, it won’t feature cross-play with console or PC versions of Apex legends.
Everyone will like this move a lot because it does just sort of reassuring that Apex legends mobile is going to be its own independent game with its own updates its own community and I think overall, it allows for the game to have higher potentials than if it was just forcefully linked to the original game well Apex legends.
Apex legends mobile is free to play and never includes paid items that grant a gameplay advantage. so no pay-to-win factors and Apex legends mobile is going to feature its own battle passes collectible cosmetics and unlockables unique from those found in PC and console versions of Apex legends.
they built a dedicated team here at respawn filled with experts in mobile game development to lead their creation of Apex legends mobile, but it’s a collaborative effort with our established Apex team and other partners.
So that means they’re just going to be sharing ideas constantly. We’ve got one independent team working on it that knows the mobile stuff and then we’ve got like the creative team over on the apex main side sort of coming up with ideas of like what kind of content updates should happen.
So This is all About Apex Legends Mobile Regional Beta Coming Out and Information about the game Apex Legends Mobile.
